Our beach is always lovely, at hightide or low tide or between the two. We had to go to the surgery for our vaccinations before winter. It is autumn, it's not summer, but there are still many people on the beach. They are walking, with or without a dog, and there's a horseman and a horsewoman. There are not a lot of surfers or a lot of swimmers, but there are still beachguards. But there is nobody sitting on wet sand. There's not a deckchair, picnic rug nor towel to be seen. If you'd like to be seated, there is a pub, cafe and restaurant.

Can I write a story without using the verb "to be"? No. But perhaps I could write a story with the verb "to be" in every sentence. I would like to try. The story will be very simple!
