The next month (September in English) is called 'mis Gwedngala' the month of white straw. Perhaps it should be called the month of golden straw. This month is the hot month or the summery month. A better name, I think, would be the month of seeds, 'mis Has', because there are seeds all around. There are acorns, lots of acorns, under the oak trees. There are lots of hazel nuts  under the hazel trees. Some of them are already eaten, perhaps by squirrels, but some of them are still green. You can eat hazelnuts, but don't eat an acorn. Black seeds of alexanders were used by the Romans, I believe, as spice, but I don't like them. They are too strong, too spicy.
