What a beautiful day for a trip to the park with the children. Near the tennis courts there's a playground with all sorts of play equipment. The children like climbing on a climbing frame, spinning on a roundabout, swinging on a swing or on an exercise frame. They are quite daring. Their grandfather can exercise too!

The frost thaws and the grass is green again. The sky today is grey, grey and wet. I do not like this weather. I hate this month, with the long nights and cheerless days. I am looking forward to going to the beach in sunnier and more summery weather. I like walking in the edge of the sea, but it's rough now. The surf is audible in the night but it is not visible. The day today wasn't so bad. I spent the morning preparing a large pan of soup with my favourite vegetables and red lentils.
