Ma gwersyow en Almaynek scrifys gen Bertolt Brecht en nawnjek cans peswardhek warn ügens. An matter ew ploumbren bian e'n garth. Ma lett bian adro dhodho, rag difresyans dhort treys. There are verses in German written by Bertolt Brecht in 1934. The subject is a little plum tree in the yard. There's a little barrier around it, for protection from feet. The little tree never had a single plum, but it is recognised because of  its leaves. Can you recognize a plumtree by its flowers? Which picture is a plumtree and which picture is a blackthorn (sloe)? What is the difference? Little flowers with five white petals - but behold a long thorn!
