Things with strings come in many shapes and many sizes. In an orchestra there are violins, violas, cellos and bases, perhaps a harp. There are guitars in a band, but there are other instruments in other countries. There aren't enough words!

Methodist were known as the Singers for their love of singing carols and hymns together.  Many books were published, in Cornwall and overseas. But the tradition is very old. In 1508 Elizabeth of York paid "to Cornishe for setting of a carolle upon Christmas Day".
