It’s Thursday, the 25th January. I have seen three more types of bird by the kitchen window: chaffinch, house sparrow and dunnock (hedge sparrow). They are all called “dicky bird”.

I have heard a great tit singing in the hedge today, but I couldn’t see it. It said “teacher, teacher, teacher”! Sometimes it comes to the bird table.
