There are lots of shops in St Ives, but I like two
of them particularly. Cornwall Soapbox has a sweet smell. They make soap and
all sorts of other things. I don’t need fussy packaging, so I prefer to buy uneven
soap ends in a bag (cheaper). There was a choice – lavender or “Ocean Breeze”
(lavender, rosemary and peppermint). The other shop is a cooperative of several
artists. I like Victoria Hilliard. She uses clay to make three dimensional
images. She depicts flowers, fruits, vegetables, etc.
