I walked by the Bolingey Stream today. There’s not a
lot of water in it. We have not had much rain recently. A good depth is one
foot, seemingly. That is 30cm to mark number three. (Each black or white stripe
is 1cm.) Today there is less than one foot of water. The stream is only twenty
centimetres (about 8 inches) deep and we can see some uncovered rocks. Last June the water was even shallower. In the
winter there was a different picture with many wet days and almost two feet of
water in the stream.
