There are preparations going on everywhere; preparations for Remembrance Sunday, preparations for the days before Christmas, for example. There are red knitted poppies in Penryn. There is a model cathedral on a Truro roundabout, and lights above the streets. There is a funfair with a roundabout and a big wheel in the middle of Truro.

Can I write a story without using the verb "to be"? No. But perhaps I could write a story with the verb "to be" in every sentence. I would like to try. The story will be very simple!
