There's a red weather warning for Cornwall. Storm Goretti is coming. The rain has already arrived. There is too much water by our house. The rain barrel is full, overfilled. There is no room for more. But we are waiting for the wind. There could be wind gusts 100 miles per hour. Will the tall tree be safe? We are ready with candles, if the electricity is lost. Can I write a story without using the verb "to be"? No. But perhaps I could write a story with the verb "to be" in every sentence. I would like to try. The story will be very simple!
