Storm Goretti came at seven o'clock last night and suddenly the electricity went away. We were without power, without internet, without phone, without light and without heat. I could write, by candle light, but I couldn't put a blog on the internet. In the middle of the night I heard voices in the lane. There were torches. My neighbour needed an ambulance, but there were trees across the lane. Four men fetched with a stretcher. In the morning, the sound of the wind was less, but there was the sound of many saws. The sunrise was red.
