Treylyes ew loos an gwav dhe'n arhans (argan) hag owr an gwenton. Arhans ew an rüsk gwydn ow besowen wydn, ha owr ew an bagas eythin melyn war an ke coth. Oll ew gwyls, gonys gen natur. An brially? Melyn, pecar'a manyn. Nag ens owr.

The winter's grey has turned to the spring's silver and gold. Silver is the white bark of my silver birch tree, and gold is the gorse bush on the old hedge. They are all wild, planted by nature. The primroses? Yellow like butter. They aren't gold.

Can I write a story without using the verb "to be"? No. But perhaps I could write a story with the verb "to be" in every sentence. I would like to try. The story will be very simple!
