There was a crowd at the Royal Cornwall Show on Thursday and Friday. The Show is popular. You can see (and taste) everything that is marvellous in Cornish food and drink. You can see the best animals from many farms. There are displays of vegetables and flowers by growers. Unfortunately, there was terrible weather on Saturday, and the Show was closed early.

Can I write a story without using the verb "to be"? No. But perhaps I could write a story with the verb "to be" in every sentence. I would like to try. The story will be very simple!
