Cornwall is a bit cooler than London! And, this morning, it i...

They are not so tasty, it seems.

My other friend is near London, far from the sea. She is in worse heat than ...

Po martesen nebes salat a via gwell. Ma tomatys ha lattys e'n yeyner." So, I can't go out in this heat. I won't chat with anyone in the street. Perhaps I could invite somebody to my house; somebody with a car. "Would you like to have a cup of tea? A drop of cold beer, perhaps? Can you stay for dinner? I have fish and chips (in the freezer). Or perhaps some salad would be better. There are tomatos and lettuce in the fridge."

The weather is too hot for me and I didn't go out. I stayed in the house, indoors. Our house is cool enough. A butcher built the house as a store for his meat. The stone walls are thick and shaded. They are wonderful for tropical weather - for this heat wave. I won't be a piece of roast meat and I won't melt like butter.

There will be another chance tomorrow - and the day after tomorrow. You can say "Hello (joy to you)" to your family and friends. You won't see anyone tomorrow? Never mind! Say "May God give you a good day" to your mirror or your computer.

In the past I planned twelve designs for a zodiac calendar. The spellings are not all used now (they're not SWF). In the legend, the "twins" were boys - brothers, but I drew "girl twins" - sisters!

I haven't found a four-leaved clover yet, but there are some very small toadstools among the flowers. They are no use to a bee. There are little red apples fallen to the ground under a young tree. The apples left in the tree will be bigger and better in the autumn. But this is not my best apple tree.
