It's a story, but could it be possible to have a big cat like that in Cornwall? Matthew Peek didn't see a big beast on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, but he took a photo of a beast on a moor in Devon. It has a long tail like a cat. We need some snow. Then we could look for tracks. A mountain lion has big feet and it makes big tracks.

No child would want to play there! We cross a little bridge in summer to reach the beach. Yesterday the bridge was overflowed by a storm surge. A man was surfing the wave! In another place, a car was "washed" into the sea.

Sadly, I can't drive at night time and I can't see many lights. I'd like to go to Heligan (the Lost Gardens) - they have a great display, with many animals. There's a badger (brock), a fox, a squirrel and more. Greg Martin took many wonderful photos. Perhaps a visit to a nice café could be easier.

The sun was bright, but it was not very high. We couldn't see the sun, but the clouds were bright as silver. We could see the position of the sun from the white clouds. Can you identify a tree by its shape? Here are an oak tree and an ash tree. The ash tree has already lost its leaves, but there are still leaves on the oak tree. These leaves from a different tree are more beautiful.

In London the Chancellor gave the Autumn Statement. The country is in recession, with spiralling debt. He must stabilise the economy and calm the financial markets. There will be tax rises and spending cuts. How will all this affect Cornwall? More council tax in April?
