The longest night is approaching, but I am thinking of the long hot days that will come next June. We have six months to prepare Speak Cornish Week. What will we say?

Can I write a story without using the verb "to be"? No. But perhaps I could write a story with the verb "to be" in every sentence. I would like to try. The story will be very simple!
