Thursday, 12th April. As I was walking to the village I saw a honeybee and a bumblebee on pussy willow (willow catkins) full of pollen. Spring is here! Perranporth is waking up after Easter. It was asleep through the winter. Many shops were closed. Now they are beginning to be prepared for summer.

I am not a fine poetess and my verses are not refined poetry. I would prefer to write songs, but I don't know how to compose the music. I am not a composer. It's hard to get rhymes for some words.
