Once upon a time there lived in St Levan a man and a woman in a place called Ram’s House. That is the beginning of a story in Cornish. Is the story true? It is not. But St Levan is a real place and the saint was a sixth century Celtic missionary in Cornwall. Today is his saint’s day.
