How beautiful Cornwall is in April. There are cowslips everywhere today. We went to look at Perran Round and there were cowslips by the road and in the Round too. It was a Playing Place for a miracle play a very long time ago. Was there a play about St Piran himself? There is big space in the middle for a big crowd of people to watch the players on the high banks. There's enough room for lots of actors. One actor (or maybe more) was the Devil. There's a special place for the Devil in the middle of the circle. He could jump out of the "Devil's Spoon" and give everyone a fright!
