My daughter-in-law had a birthday yesterday. So, my son and his family came to our house. Their little boys stayed here while Mum and Dad went to a music festival, Tunes in the Dunes. We could hear the loud music from our garden. Grandmother and grandfather babysat.

Can I write a story without using the verb "to be"? No. But perhaps I could write a story with the verb "to be" in every sentence. I would like to try. The story will be very simple!
