Happy Halloween to you! Or perhaps I should say Happy Allan Night to you. In the past there were Allan Markets in Cornwall before the end of October. People could buy Allan Apples - big, sweet apples, as gifts for good fortune.

Can I write a story without using the verb "to be"? No. But perhaps I could write a story with the verb "to be" in every sentence. I would like to try. The story will be very simple!
