Ma bregh dydn genam wòja bos brehlinys bedn Covid. Saw gwell ew bos tydn avel bos tòchys gen Covid. System difresyans ow horf ew ervys lebmyn ha gwithys o vy rag Covid (ha flou). Dres lycklod my a vedh tòchys gen an annes kebmyn  avorow! 

I have a sore arm after being vaccinated against Covid. But it's better to be sore than to be infected with Covid. My body's defence system is now armed and I am protected against Covid (and flu). Probably I'll catch the common cold tomorrow!

Den po maw gwiskys en lavrek o moy saw avel benyn pow mos gwiskys en pilen. Today I watched Lynn Mayers talking about bal-maidens. It was a very interesting lecture, from Kresen Kernow (Cornwall Centre). There were many bal-maidens in my parish (in a red area of the map). There is still the remains of a mine nearby. The work could be dangerous. Sometimes a girl's clothes were caught in machinery. Long skirts were not safe. A man or boy dressed in a pair of trousers was safer than a woman or girl dressed in a skirt.
